I was investigating about this name.Some people say there was a name Abraham Or Casique another òpinion is just the name of the river around this country.But anyway I just want you to know Maimon is a municiple right in the middle of this beautiful country,it's 70km from Santo Domingo.

Belong to the Province Monseñor Nouel (Bonao)was made in 1986 by the law 86-27.In the government of Joaquin Balaguer as a president of Domincan Republic.

Sugar cane was its principle economy until 1987.Right after agriculture only and then agriculture and ganaderia.Since 1995 also a minimum make a living in the mineria or doing something.

It is the place were I was born.I never have moved away yet.It is a beautiful place and it is all around rivers and mountains.Also Santo Domingo is 45 minutes away.Therefore I can easily go see a baseball game at the Quisquella Stadium.Ialso can take my family to see movie.

One day I am invite all my classmates to my hometown.

Little Red Riding Hood

Once upon a time there lived in a certain village a little country girl, the prettiest creature who was ever seen. Her mother was excessively fond of her; and her grandmother doted on her still more. This good woman had a little red riding hood made for her. It suited the girl so extremely well that everybody called her Little Red Riding Hood.

One day her mother, having made some cakes, said to her, "Go, my dear, and see how your grandmother is doing, for I hear she has been very ill. Take her a cake, and this little pot of butter."

Little Red Riding Hood set out immediately to go to her grandmother, who lived in another village.

As she was going through the wood, she met with a wolf, who had a very great mind to eat her up, but he dared not, because of some woodcutters working nearby in the forest. He asked her where she was going. The poor child, who did not know that it was dangerous to stay and talk to a wolf, said to him, "I am going to see my grandmother and carry her a cake and a little pot of butter from my mother."

"Does she live far off?" said the wolf

"Oh I say," answered Little Red Riding Hood; "it is beyond that mill you see there, at the first house in the village."

"Well," said the wolf, "and I'll go and see her too. I'll go this way and go you that, and we shall see who will be there first."

The wolf ran as fast as he could, taking the shortest path, and the little girl took a roundabout way, entertaining herself by gathering nuts, running after butterflies, and gathering bouquets of little flowers. It was not long before the wolf arrived at the old woman's house. He knocked at the door: tap, tap.

"Who's there?"

"Your grandchild, Little Red Riding Hood," replied the wolf, counterfeiting her voice; "who has brought you a cake and a little pot of butter sent you by mother."

The good grandmother, who was in bed, because she was somewhat ill, cried out, "Pull the bobbin, and the latch will go up."

The wolf pulled the bobbin, and the door opened, and then he immediately fell upon the good woman and ate her up in a moment, for it been more than three days since he had eaten. He then shut the door and got into the grandmother's bed, expecting Little Red Riding Hood, who came some time afterwards and knocked at the door: tap, tap.

"Who's there?"

Little Red Riding Hood, hearing the big voice of the wolf, was at first afraid; but believing her grandmother had a cold and was hoarse, answered, "It is your grandchild Little Red Riding Hood, who has brought you a cake and a little pot of butter mother sends you."

The wolf cried out to her, softening his voice as much as he could, "Pull the bobbin, and the latch will go up."

Little Red Riding Hood pulled the bobbin, and the door opened.

The wolf, seeing her come in, said to her, hiding himself under the bedclothes, "Put the cake and the little pot of butter upon the stool, and come get into bed with me."

Little Red Riding Hood took off her clothes and got into bed. She was greatly amazed to see how her grandmother looked in her nightclothes, and said to her, "Grandmother, what big arms you have!"

"All the better to hug you with, my dear."

"Grandmother, what big legs you have!"

"All the better to run with, my child."

"Grandmother, what big ears you have!"

"All the better to hear with, my child."

"Grandmother, what big eyes you have!"

"All the better to see with, my child."

"Grandmother, what big teeth you have got!"

"All the better to eat you up with."

And, saying these words, this wicked wolf fell upon Little Red Riding Hood, and ate her all up.

Moral: Children, especially attractive, well bred young ladies, should never talk to strangers, for if they should do so, they may well provide dinner for a wolf. I say "wolf," but there are various kinds of wolves. There are also those who are charming, quiet, polite, unassuming, complacent, and sweet, who pursue young women at home and in the streets. And unfortunately, it is these gentle wolves who are the most dangerous ones of all.

in american restaurants, your waitperson will often tell you his or her name and make small talk before talking your order. he or she will automatically bring you a glass of water and try to keep your glass full throughout the meal. adults will sometime order wine , but its illegal for any one under 21 tobe served acohol. when you want your waitperson to come to your table, you should make eye contact. its concidered rude to call out or wave your hand at your waitperson. in the U.S.A you can order whatever you like from the menu. if you are not hugry its aceptable to oder just a salad. for full meal you oder soup, then salad and then the main course. the main course usually comes with vegetables. after dinner, the waitperson will bring you a desert menu or describe the day's desert. you should leave a tip of 15 percent to 20 percent of the total bill. if you don't think the service was very good, you leave less.

Hello I am Rafel , i study modern languages and i like to talk english with other people , in the future i would like to be an interpreter or translate documents in an enterprise o teaching english in internet because i like the informatica very much i like always tobe doing many thing in the internet ,in my free time i use the internet and chat with other people in english and other languages and i practice very much in the internet so i download many videos and i enjoy very much , in my free time also i like to go out with my friends and running and reading books ,so eating ,watching movies , studying about other subjecs and i like to discover about other classes as the sciences that i like very much so my life is good , also i am a christian boy , i visit the church in my neighboarhood , and i say we have to looking the lord every day and pray because that is very good , see you this is all about me , i have two years in the university , and i hope to finish soon .

The lazy bee is a story of a bee that liked walking around the living day to get to sleep the night came to the hive. My name is Pablo Cesar I'm 26 years old and my principal goal is learnd english fluently, I start to study modern languages in January 2003 but it was not my first experience in english because I did as a begining 2 years ago In 2005 I got married and one year later my son birth; right after I stop to study to get a better job this summer I start to work like entertaiment in a resort in Babaro Beach, I'm still working since 2006.
My job is very funny and very important in the tourist coast in Dominican Republic; I teach guest how to speak spanish, how to dance our :rhythm I meam Merengue like the first music in our tropical country also Bachata and Salsa...We play sport and music.
During the night is SHOW TIME is the main activitive an expecific hour everyday, we have to dance on the stage, do a pre-show that we call it icebraker or just have a sit and enjoy, it's the best part of the show I like. I work in the department but I'm not one of the profecional dancer.... Most of the time I spend , it's keep in talk with the Guest

The present perfect

The present perfect is the combination of Have + the past participle .

For example , Have you seen Atilano s teacher today ? yes I have , no I havent , yes I have seen atilano , no I havent seen to atilano today .

To have : is an auxiliar , but you can say also , I have done the class , he hasent eaten today , she hasent eater today .

Here I m going to put some verbs in the present , past and past participle .

The boy that never said anything to the girl

Once upon a time that a boy was in love of a girl and that girl worked in a market , and he always wanted to tell something at her , but he was very shy , and he decide to go to the market to buy a CD to see her , every day he used go to the market to buy a CD , but he only wanted to see her and never spoke with her , so one day he decide to talk her and when he went to the market to talk with her , she was not there and he ask in the market and they told him that she move to other country , so he got sad very sad , and passed the time and the boy got sick and died and never could talk to her.
so, one day her mother was in his room and saw alot of CD and the CD fall down on the floor ,and she saw many papers and she read and were letters and the letters were for his son , so the boy never knew that the girl was interested in him , so the mother cried . this is a sad story , but i want to tell you , when you feel something for anybody you have to talk to that person and tell her . see you i hope you like my story .
