Alex Rodríguez
Born un Washington Heights is a professional Dominican baseball player of Dominican origin who plays in Major League Baseball for the New York Yankees. He previously played on shortstop for the Seattle Mariners, and then for the Texas Ranger. Nicknamed A-Rod. Rodriguez was considered one of the best baseball players of all time until he learned the many times he was doped. He is the youngest player to hit 500 homers, breaking the record set by Jimmie Foxx in 1939, and the youngest player to reach 600, surpassing Babe Ruth's record for one year. For 14 seasons, he has made over 100 races, more than any other player in history. On September 24, 2010 Rodriguez hit two homers, surpassing Sammy Sosa's record of 609 homers, and becoming the all-time leader in home runs for a player of Hispanic descent. I December of 2007, Rodriguez and the Yankees agreed to a 10-years contract for $ 275 million dollars.
