Here I have a summary of bonao. (Its famous places, and famous people)

Saltos de jima

Its large shrubs, its impressive waterfalls of white water, the great diversity of flora and fauna and its natural beauty are just some of the characteristics that surround its visitors. This is Los Saltos de Jima Natural Monument.

Charco bonito

The Los Quemados Dam, Aroyo Avispa, the Blanco Tackle, Charco Bonito, among others.

El camellon

The Camellón, visited by thousands of tourists throughout the year and which is also known as the Masipedro Canal.

Fula

Rio Fula, where dozens of visitors and locals enjoy its crystal clear waters.

House museum Christian Tiburcio

Tiburcio House Museum is the house where this artist lives. But it is not a normal house, it is rather a museum full of magic in each of its corners. This artist shapes his ideas in a colorful way on each wall of this house, evoking figures that range from nature, a sun, marine species, squiggles like cave paintings, to whatever comes to mind at that moment.

Plaza de la cultura

It is a non-profit institution, open to all young people, regardless of their economic and social status, only with the hope that their students will master the fine arts taught in this center. Bidido, son of this valley, he created and founded this oasis for his homeland, but also for foreign Dominicans who have a vocation to be artists of the brush, piano, theater, guitar, and ballet.

La voz del Yuna

In Bonao, the original house was demolished and we have the replica of La Voz del Yuna, between the streets of August 16 and Gregorio Luperón, which constitutes a historical and cultural tribute of the senator of the Republic for the province Monseñor Nouel.

Héctor Acosta(El torito)

Hector Elpidio Acosta Restituyo (born May 23, 1967 in Bonao) is a Dominican singer of merengue, bolero and bachata. Known for having been the vocal leader of the popular 90's merengue Dominican group, Los Toros Band. Since then he is known by his nickname El Torito.

Joel Peralta

Joel Peralta Gutiérrez (born March 23, 1976 in Bonao) is a Dominican Major League reliever pitcher who plays for

Los Angeles Dodgers.

Candido Bido

Cándido Bidó (May 20, 1936 - March 7, 2011) was an outstanding sculptor and

Dominican cartoonist. His paintings are recognized in Europe, the United States and

Middle East ; also in Latin American countries such as Cuba, Colombia and

Panama. He was the first Dominican painter to exhibit his works in France.
